ChemClean 2kg
Chemclean from Chemisphere UK is a very effective alkaline cleaner that can be used both hot and cold, and is widely used by brewers for rough cleaning of brewing equipment, yeast tanks, cornelius barrels and the like. The detergent is effective on stainless steel, soft metals, plastic and glass.Chemclean removes proteins, stains, carbon and fatty acids and gives excellent results in both hard and soft water.Equivalent to PBW, Craftclean and similar alkaline cleaning products.Instructions for use:- Mixing ratio: Dissolve 50 g of Chemclean in 5 liters of water for manual cleaning (scrubbing). 50 g per 20 liters of water when soaking. The dosage can be increased up to 5% depending on the dirt conditions.- Remove as much loose dirt as possible by rinsing equipment and containers before cleaning.- Manual cleaning: Scrub all surfaces with the cleaner until all surfaces are clean.- Circulation cleaning: Use 50 g per 20 liters of water for fermentation vessels, barrels, tanks and other equipment. Circulate for 30 minutes with temperature up to 60°C. Mixing ratio and circulation time may need to be adjusted depending on the amount of dirt.- Soaking: Ensure that all equipment to be cleaned is completely submerged. Soak for 4 hours at temperature up to 60°C, or soak cold overnight. Rinse equipment thoroughly after cleaning. The solution can be reused during the cleaning process. Do not use on Teflon-coated surfaces.Hazard warning:Chemclean - UN 3262 Danger - Contains sodium carbonate & sodium metasilicate pentahydrate. Keep out of reach of children.
