Recipe Kit 20L is for those who have a brewery or other brewing equipment for crushed malt. You learn how to brew great beer from scratch with real malt, hops, yeast and water. The recipe kit is 20 liters and gives about 56 bottles/cans 33cl of beer.

A black West Coast India Pale Ale (IPA) that gets dark colour from Chocolate malt, but not so much the flavor. Munich Malt adds nice maltiness. Wonderful citrus and pine flavour and aroma from the American Centennial and Columbus hops. Dry Hopping gives lovely aroma.

Fermentation
This ale is best fermented at a temperature of 18°C. The recommended temperature range is 17-21°C. Please use something like a brewbag or temperature controlled refrigerator to keep the temperature under controll.
How long does it take?
The brewing itself takes about 4 hours. Then the beer should be fermented for 2 weeks, then it is bottled and bottle primed for another 2 weeks. A total of 4 weeks, then the beer is ready to be enjoyed!
What equipment do I have to have at home?
Brewery (20L or bigger) or other brewing equipment for crushed malt, Kettle 10-20L, ladle, powdered sugar, containers 1-2L, Spice and decilititis, bottle filler, disinfectant, capsule, yeast with and without tap. Brown empty bottles (about 28st 33CL per 10 gallons of beer) are needed only when the beer is to be bottled 14 days after the brew day.
